Hi

I'm also looking for some of that blue stuff you get on bolts to make sure they stay screwed in? I only need enough for 4 bolts if anyone has some leftovers, or that I can borrow and send back?

Not sure I want to buy a new tube when I doubt I'll use it again? Unless it's dirt cheap, or there's other uses for it?

i'm sure some people use loctite...

Loctite 243 is the way to go as you can dismantle the item at some point in the future, unlike some of their range that will lock the thread in place until Hell freezes over or I voluntarily jump into a body of water
