Hector Picard, no arms, but does HIM triathlon

Truly inspirational, HIM as well. The guys on IMTalk were talking about him recently, apparently he can change tyres using his feet, and watching the vid and how he does his shoes, I can see how. Makes me feel completely useless.

Very inspiring, nothing but admiration for Hector.

What a bloke and under 7 1/2 hours. Amazing.

This man is amazing, makes my efforts look trivial. This is encouraging me more to try for 70.3 next year
Targets for 2012
  • Learn to use my new clipless pedals without falling off every time i stop
  • Beat my time for Tadcaster Sprint (1:43:46)
  • Start to OW swim
  • Complete an OD tri

I'm pretty sure in his situation I'd be at home feeling sorry for myself everyday.

I felt frustrated for him with the shoes and all the stuff I just take for granted.

I agree pretty humbling stuff!

He's faster over a middle than I was with Ewan!!
