Which no one seems to have taken me up on yet. Or a least I've had no times. So if you've donated, or feel like a £5 bet then please donate £5 and post a time here or on Facebook before the 10am start tomorrow

Blimey! Jibby has banged out a 45min 10k  Mark about 1 min behind. Bloody hell they both have predicted times around 3:15-16

Sarah is bang on 4 hour pace. All looking very good so far...

jibbs and mark in - (3h 40 and 3h 50 ish respectively), sar looking like she might drift to 4h 10 (another 20mins to go maybe) and cat and andy closing in as well.

great racing, everyone!

eh? Looks to me like Mark did 3:20:28... Very consistent running.

From the splits, I'd guess that jibby really wasn't enjoying the last 10k. Cracking effort. Just catching up on the rest of the times.

Ha ha ha... we don't do this sh*t because it is fun, Mark!! Well, maybe we do... we just have a VERY different idea of fun to most people!

Once again, great running today mate. As I've said elsewhere that was an incredibly consistent run: you got out there, started, ground out the miles and then finished.

Tbh mate I'd love to be in the position of being able to say "given the chance to run again I might"!! :D

Ticker is ticking. There's a minor problem in there but it was 80% GP and surgeon arse cover / 20% actual issue. But we only know that with the hindsight of a lot of tests and some exploratory surgery so I'm not grumbling. I'll have to go back for a minor home-the-same-day procedure at some point in the future, but nothing to worry about for now. Unless I exacerbate it by doing bad stuff like eating shite, boozing heavily and doing no exercise. This is all under my control! 8-)

So yeah, I'm chewing nails and spitting bullets ready to get out there in 2017. Don't think I'll ever be a serious mara runner, although I do love an HM when I'm in reasonable shape, so my expectations for London in terms of time will firstly be 'Have a good time' and secondly some relaxed version of what I think I'm capable of. Sub-4 would be great, 3:45 is a dream... but all of it is bollocks until I'm ready to face that start line

Great to [virtually] see the BCTTT crew in action today: some cracking performances from you, Jibbs, Sar, Team Butler and occasional visitors Tony Wilson and Chris Hammond.

Guess that's at least me and Si on the start line next year! Anybody know how Major Peake got on...?
