And he listens....sort of...I mentioned on Sunday that you need a chain whip and locking nut removal tool. Attach chain whip to cassette, insert locking nut tools then realise you have done it wrong and tightened it up further...swap whip around and remove.
However - your cassette may be ok - how do you know its whacked? Spray it with WD40 - use an old rag and run it between the cogs. Then inspect.
Its a 5 min job to swap cassettes - the chain, can be a bit fiddly - but you've learnt the hardway - Clean Yir Bike!
