Not overly close, but the Cotswold Spring Sprint is a good, if somewhat cold, early open water sprint. Google Triferris. 400 swim, a pretty flat bike and dead flat non road run around the lake. It's in Cirencester.
I'd go with the alloys and lose a few pounds!

Welcome both

I guarantee you will end the season with less cash than when you started.

Good Luck with the training and racing.

Hi all,

More than a welcome back than an introduction. Been away for some time, hope your all well.

You guys looking for new members still? Become unattached and would be looking to join. Also interested in a tri suit if you do club kit?

Welcome back Goose!

Have a gander (see what I did there? ) at the membership thread. If you follow the link there's a heading for 'New Registrations'.

Pay up and your forum name will soon turn into a magical gold colour. The gates to the rest of the forum will open and reveal a magical world of discounts, special offers and club kit. And a tremendous turd-spurt of bad advice and stupidity, of course.

We're a pukka BTF club, too, so you'll see us on the list to have as your first-claim club on your BTF licence.
I had fun once. It was awful.

Welcome back, hope whilst you have been away you have not learned anything otherwise you could severely embarrass us wearing club kit and knowing what you are doing!
