Bloke at the pool

Postby chappers » 11 Sep 2012 13:13

Chatting to a guy in the changing rooms who was swimming in the lane next to me. Apparently he was an ex-US team swimmer coached by Mark Spitz and Jean Boiteux (I'm not at all a swim buff but I've since googled and I'm impressed).. he was watching my woeful style and I now have a few pointers to try :-) what a nice bloke!
No? Tough. We're doing it.

Robson Green goes to my gym. Haven't got round to asking him about his extreme swimming yet.

We are just following the equation
chatting or knowing someone 'famous' = networking = gaining knowledge = as we know.knowledge is power and therefore power = corruption, yep definately training for global corruption, or domination, not much difference today really .

jazz carlin turned up at one our club training sessions a few months ago. i'd have asked her some advice only she was about 4 lanes away with the part-dolphin people, destroying them without even trying. i'm sure just being in the water with someone that fast improves your 100m time, right?
