Just had a tour round "The Hive" in Worcester by the proud owners.

It amused me being inside Ris's handiwork, especially in a small world kind of way

It certainly is clad with lots of coppery goodness.

And it's a bit of a talking point in the City - everyone has an opinion :D

I can't take any credit for the overall design or the interior, but can accept blame for the gold. We've been enjoying the post-occ side (fettling/mandering the building to get it to work properly - looks like it's now tuned right). Love to hear your opinion on it - I'm taking the family up next weekend for the first time.
Hope you liked it, certainly a polarising building!

I saw this last week on the train taking me to running up, along & over the Malvern Hills...and thought of you. It looks as though the gold is weathering in a little, which I assume may assuage the anti brigade a bit. looks like a fine building from the train.

Just about the only job I've worked on where the budget seemed ok (what does that say about pfi?!). Bloody lucky to have a nice, prominent, un-VE-able material like copper-alloy gold. Came down to earth on the next job, though!
