Was this an under 12s event? ;)

It had a run and swim in it, so we'll gloss over the kayaking part.. ;-)

Did it only take 14 minutes though???

Yup. 14 extremely painful minutes. Run a mile (@6:30 pace, oops) then kayak 200m then swim 250m. Didn't help that I'd just come from an hour of being waterboarded, I mean a kayak roll clinic and was totally wrecked. Starting out at sub 6 miling wasn't wise either.

I did IM wales but since I DNS'd my third race for the season (Wensleydale) I never worked out my score, since I wouldn't post sufficient events.

Well then, I'm sure there's a couple of [spit spit] duathlons still this calendar year to throw oneself into? ;-)

I DNSed two out of my three races this season, btw - gutted. :|

Do they have to be multi-sport? I did a few TTs and the London mara.

I did a load in my back garden which I also won.

I think you should stick to btf/ITU and WTC sanctioned events.

This year we're sticking to multisport - but jury is out on whether to include a S / B / R solo events next year. As Jack says, there's the qualifying criteria question - on the one hand I wouldn't want to have a whole bunch of parkruns or club TTs to track, but on the other events like London Mara probably should have a place on the results sheet.
