Cheeky. I've consciously kept it to multi sport events, as otherwise it would become unmanageable - with all the park runs etc. people run.. Plus there's a bunch of single sport initiatives out there already (winter run challenges, TT FUBARs, etc.).

So - computer says NO! ;-)

With there being a lot of winter duathlons, is it worth making it during the calendar year, rather than restricting Feb to October?

Fair point guys - took the "summer" as season, but I can't see why winter months can't be counted in. Duathlons is one thing, and in the era of global domination we also may have someone racing in more tropical latitudes too. Will adjust to full calendar year.

EDIT: now done

Yes but shouldn't be nov to oct maybe as most people have come to end of season around ow and think of it as having started new season, no?

Great idea. To complicate it further how about running from the day after the club relays to the Monday before, then it could be rolled into the awards night and it encompasses all winter duathlons then?

Now Jibby thats a great idea. As we will all be at the relays, no one will be racing.I am sure we can back date it for this year

I'll push back on this - you really want a single season experience I think (focus, amount of training, etc. changes for folks as they go from season to season), and slicing it around the relays date would cut the main, i.e. tri, season in half (or thereabouts) which defeats the purpose a bit and distorts the dynamics.

I say let's stick to the original calendar 2015 - in this way if someone does duathlon or races in e.g. Australia they can still count, but we're keeping the focus on the "central" Tri season.

Or in Qatar? The season for me is over by the end of March.

Come on, you not planning to race in 60 deg heat? Lightweight.

You, my dear, need some badminton in your life. Helps with that, I've heard.
