*Strictly speaking, these don't count as they might have been done under the name of the wrong club. But I wanted to annoy Will, who, would just have these as being the only person to ride an open on a road bike, other than me.

Will's time is 28:26, done on 22/02/2014. Which is really the club record.

does non-aero include road bike with clip ons, or is that in the point-hat wearing slippery bike section?

I think clipons should be banned....

...which might make some of Will's rides invalid.

Should just be road bikes etc.

others might disagree.

I say we need a "half-aero" section for that. ;-)

Crispy Aero?

We all know what a road bike is though - what we go out on for a ride. (although I am sure some people leave clip ons on). Road helmet, road wheels, road frame, road bars. Like what you see in road races.

You may say that... but at the sportive yesterday, there was a guy on a TT bike, with full deep section front / disc rear; pointy hat; and backpack. Kudos to him - I can hardly ride the TT with a backpack (I do take one along when I ride to evening 10s, but find it stops me getting my shoulders narrow enough to ride comfortable on the aero bars) - must have been hard work on a windy day!

Just shows how difficult the idea of records, once you get categories in, is.
