Oh god, me touching the floor in a mankini is enough to make ME feel ill. Nah, the point was that I'm flexible enough to get a good aero position. But I do feel that my upper body strength could be better applied: my swimmer triceps help out, but my weedy core muscles need beefing up to make it easier on the arms. In longer races I have felt that my knackered arms have made the run difficult.
I digress... and I'll start another thread on the subject: does weight training help a cyclist, and should it be medium weight/high reps or heavy weight/low reps? Probably one for Conehead...
