Bopo, I'm not even sure I'm racing at the moment.

Ben, you won't be alone. Ed eats loads too and needs to eat often, except he's about 3 times the size of you :-/

Sierakow is a course where you need to be "intelligent on the bike, and even more intelligent on the run" and "not one for PBs".

Why are you drip feeding us info like this.

This isn't a race

It's a long training session...

Nothing more than that :?

Hey, don't shoot the messenger. I'm just relaying what I read on the Polish thingy.

(and if some psychological advantage comes with it too, who am I to say no to it? ;-) )

As I am not heading out for this I get to watch the cluster develop from afar :) - still missing it though :(

I assume everybody starts at the same time? Are we going to get live updates from the event as each clusterf**k detonates?

Although gutted about not being able to go (well, I could have, but it would have been the wrong thing to do), I am ridiculously excited about this race. Quite a remarkable set of journeys really... Artur's supremely dedicated training plan - and actually organising a BCTTT away event which he has now discovered is like trying to herd cats with an air-horn  , Ben's last minute The Fear™ approved training plan and his 'ignore the cardiologist' attitude  , Jody's quiet, steady and actually impressive progress , Sar's battle against injury. And is the Jellyman racing, based on his training method of weight-loss and weight-lifting (this will be VERY interesting)?

Bloody good luck to all of the BCTTTski away team. Wish I was there. Meanwhile I can't wait to see how it all unfolds. 8-)

:?

I can think of cheaper training sessions.
But it isn't a training session, it is a race, so race like you have never raced before...
Extinction is the rule. Survival is the exception.
