As it currently stands, there are flood alerts in place along the entire length of the course... some are under sitting water, however all are passable with an added level of care. If the race were to have taken place today, we would have been able to hold the course as planned... What happens now is entirely in the hands of the weather. If the course receives any more rain before Saturday, it is highly likely that the flood alerts will turn to warnings or severe warnings rendering vast stretches impassable, under water and extremely dangerous... The forecast for Thursday night and Friday is currently for heavy rain around and directly on the Thames.

The first two thirds of this are the exact opposite of my race strategy. Last year I think a large part of my failure could be attributed to being ahead of the likes of Nick Roberts etc until I stopped... The third part though is the corner stone of my strategy!Jack Hughes wrote:Forewarned is forearmed. Or forelegged. Although four legged might be better
Fourlegged would be awesome... I could do with having two spare
Does the Northern Witch wish to cast a prediction??
