Last of the Summer Whine

Postby Jack Hughes » 22 Aug 2015 10:47

Weekend of 10th October.

Re run of the Hell of the Worth route, most likely.

People wanted to do it again as they enjoyed it so much. Apart from, possibly, the weather.

So, unlike in March, where it's snow turning to rain, it will be rain turning to snow. So completely different.

Details on the Facebook event page.

Could be tempted seeing as it will almost be my birthday. Will see if I can secure exit pass. Is there a Friday option too?

So, looks like Saturday 10th October is the date for your diary.

Route here:

http://thehelloftheworth.blogspot.co.uk ... route.html

It's "only" 80km. But experience shows that the average riding speed will be about 10 mph + stoppage time.

Created a "club event" on Strava. So hopefully you will all be spammed with this, as well as facebook (it automatically sends the invite to all club members, which is nice).

Not sure that comment is helping your sales pitch!
