Anyone else down for this this year?
Couldn't find an existing thread.

Im 'in' fits in well with the Les Stable club trip as a final heavy training week too.
Lots and lots to catch up on but is at least now motivation to get back into some sort of training regime. Starting from scratch really.

Not this year. Did three on the bounce and they are great races, but if I do a middle this year it will be a different one, only on the basis I don't do many and would try something else.
Enjoy it, which will happen if you get some hill training bike sessions in!

Not for me either - did it last year and loved it, but gone down a distance this season. You'll love it though, it's a very well organised race.

Snap - giving it a miss. Totally loved it last year (the wind was criminal) but I need a change and I've had the Sundowner on my radar for a while

If I do a triathlon this year it will probably be the Sundowner.

There's a lot to commend it:

The date (great off the back of a summer holiday endurance block)
The time (afternoon start)
The course (pancake flat).

Downsides would be the weather. Not that bad, but flat can be exposed. Last year it wasn't that windy, but it tipped down.

And HIM is great for people who have the swim as a weak spot.

Immortal (for a limited tme).
