Verdun Sprint and Montreal Esprit Standard

Have 2 races entered in Montreal now. About 5 weeks to the sprint then a couple more to the OD. Need to do some training! I hope the briefings are in English as well as French.

Thanks!

Verdun sprint this weekend. It suddenly occurred to me that it's probably going to be a non wetsuit swim! Perusing the web site all the info is in French but there is no mention of wetsuits. Guess I will find out on the day at the latest. Need to revise tri keywords in French!

bonne chance, ne pas oublier de prendre votre combinaison juste au cas où, Si c'est un bain de combinaison non alors pas de mal.

If it's wrong blame Google translate :D

1:13:40 including a bike crash. 43rd overall and 4th M35-39. Hope my frame is OK. Wiped out hitting a kerb, must have stopped concentrating. About to be stitched up on shin. Hopefully be OK and fit for the standard in a few weeks.

Bad luck, buddy. Sorry to hear about your wipe-out but you walked away from it, so all is good.

Hope the bike is OK and that gravel rash isn't too ouchy.

Great result regardless. Would've loved to have been there but there was a Park run in Ipswich that meant I was double booked.
I had fun once. It was awful.

Ouch! Saw the pictures... hope both you and the bike are OK.
Hugely impressive to pick yourself and finish the event after that - and deliver a great result too!

You crashed and still came 4th in AG! Well done, apart from the crashing, pain, blood etc. Is the bike OK?
