North West indeed - was my choice of races a give away? I'm in Chelford (in the middle of Macc, Knutsford & Alderley)

Whereabouts are you?

Booked a hotel for the night the day before Llandudno so making a nice weekend of it with the WAT officer, the litte one & with the aforementioned Heineken drinking friend.

Afternoon Guys,

I'm new to these forums but have been reading them for a while now. I've also signed up to become a fully fledged member of the BCTTT and look forward to everything that that brings.

I've done a few sprints and olympic distance events over the past 3 years as it seemed a good way to get fit for a trek to everest basecamp to celebrate my 30th birthday. I'm now signed up for the Nottingham Ironman in August and about 9 weeks into Don Finks competitive programme. So far so good and i'm enjoying all the training.

Anyway, I look forward to chatting with you all!

Cheers

P

Hi Paul

You sound far to fit and healthy for the BCTTT  If you're not suffering from some sort of muscle/joint/bone/skin/hair/ligament/mental issue then I'm not sure you're in the right place

Although to be honest that might just be my skewed view of things from my own wheel-chair!

Welcome to the best club in the known universe, we laugh, joke, train (seriously) and have fun doing triathlons.

Do you mean, "we train serisously", if so, I'm in the wromg Club. Or "seriously, we train", in which case I'm possiby still in the wrong Club
