Plantar fasciitis

Postby Ihavenonickname » 05 May 2016 20:21

So just been to the Dr and I've been diagnosed with Plantar Fasciitis. Which means no Man Vs Horse in a few weeks and probably no ultra next year.

On the positive it probably means my I'll get through the London Marathon ballot.

Go on, hit me with your Plantar horror stories...

Golf ball massage. Excruciating but effective. Enjoy!

Also, try a night splint.

Cheers Ian, I've been using a spiky tumble dryer ball which seems to help. Will look into a night splint.

Wouldn't the blue pills be a little more discreet?

Cheers mate. How hard was it to trust it again? especially when you started running properly again? I was beginning to feel like I was getting somewhere with my running. Stupid body ruining my fun.

once it had fully gone i knew it...it just kept hurting and hurting then it switched off......i saw a foot specialist and she got nowhere....then i bit the bullit and went back to physio....he fixed it with a massively panful knuckle in the feet technique and it just went away...then running was pain free again and i just knew it was fixed.
