Run walk

Morning all, long time no speak!

I want to start run walk programme again. However, I no longer have any running shoes.
What I have available is:
Merrel barefoot
Meindl Walking boots

My knees are still knackered - so I've decided that there's fuck all to do but get going again and just take pain killers.

So - which to pick and why?

Neither will be particularly pleasant, but I think the Merrels will be the least unpleasant. The boots will be too heavy and not flexible enough whereas the others should be
a little lighter and more flexible.

Light is good.

But surely the ones which work best are best?

Go for a walk and see which ones you like.

There's no magic answer.

I sometimes wear wellies, boots, shoes, trainers, all depends on where I am going, and what the terrain is like (Wellies at the moment, as everywhere is soaked).
