Whenever I click a link someone has posted in the body of a message it opens in the same tab/window instead of opening a new tab.

I know I can right click > open in new tab, but this doesn't happen on any other site I visit.

Is there something in my preferences I can change or is to do with the board settings?

I believe this is the default behaviour for phpBB Chris, I could mod the source but like I've said before this can cause problems when the software gets upgraded.

And cheers Scotty, I've messed something right up there, will work to fix this when I get chance.

Is it possible to enable flash embedding so youtube videos can be embedded into posts instead of having to provide links?

chris,

It's possible - but I think admins have to setup BBcodes etc., plus make a decision on whether it fits their security model :geek: I know... I embraced my geek side a while ago ;)

Edit: However I seem unable to read when a post was last made

I know it's possible after looking into it. It was more of a request just to get it enabled.
