My old one popped off its quick release strap and got run over by a car.

So I need a new one.

If anyone has one can you let me otherwise its Amazon for me... grrrr

It's a long shot, but have you tried emailing Garmin and explaining your situation? They might be able to sort something for you?

Theres a website that sells reburbisged garmins. Not sure of the name. I will ask my buddy who has used them and post it.

Ben, they're for measuring SPEED and DISTANCE. Why do you want one? Or is it for someone else?
