Hah Won't be dropping any lower - hoping to sell it here for what should be a low hassle sale (to someone I know and potentially leveraging the BCTTT delivery network). If it gets advertised elsewhere then I'll be adding eBay/etc premium on. So get it whilst it's hot!

yeah yeah... I mean without the disc cover (which I assume contributes to the £300 If it goes low enough I'll consider it for my GF as a birthday present (read spare turbo wheel ).

more seriously though CCS should buy it

£300 is wheel/hub only, covers not included. Don't really want to go lower than that, otherwise I may as well keep it for when I get another road bike.

And I believe CCS has other plans

I still can't manage to make a plan. Half of me thinks that I should just get my head down and do some proper training and save my pennies (especially given how poor I am at following instructions on following HR.... zone 1/2? Surely that means sprinting up a hill in zone 6 to catch some random punter?); the other half of me thinks I need power now to get the benefit before I get too old and fall apart.

You can still make performance gains as you get older.

But you are most likely to see these coming from aero dynamic efficiency, rather than power increases .

A power meter is even more important to inform you about your CdA.... and if you are making improvements.

speed = f( power, drag)

Very hard to work out drag if you have two unknowns.


The faster you get, the more drag increases (i.e. non linear as it is at least a square).
