I was SO gutted for you, Si, when you got pulled off the course in Weymouth. And more than a little concerned, too, that you'd got so cold and so quickly. Obviously, there's more meat on a butcher's pencil but that can't be all the problem was... I wondered if you were ill, or on your way to being ill. And you were bloody close to being a full-on emergency, too... I'm not sure how low your body temp has to get before they call the Bendy Bus but you can't have been far off.

Then I was astonished to see you'd entered Mallorca so soon after... but on reflection it made perfect sense: a bit of recovery time; the fitness was clearly there; warm weather event; many, many opportunities for us to make "Is it a wetsuit swim?" gags. Perfect.

And it does rather look as though you went, saw and conquered! Really happy for you and I hope you are rightly pleased with that time.

Made me giggle that you were on the pull on the bike ride and the best bit of the run was all the women on the beach... #bloodystudents

Haha thanks! Ive had issues on cold swims before (ask will Vince) and I had more weight then. I put it more down to sea sickness this time. I really did enjoy mallorca!
