you'll be please to hear i'm probably turning out again in a couple of weeks. might be the last one until wales, though as the calendar is pretty stacked through august already.

gb racing doesn't appeal at the moment, but maybe it will one day. pushing my own limits is focus enough for me for now.

looking at the results - the guy that won it is a pro, so i think the reference par for my ag is second in 1:53:26. this guy is still good enough to be welsh national champion, but he's still (probably) mostly an amateur.

Superb, cracking result and no doubt would have been faster if you had started nearer the front.

Top 5% is a great result! Amazed you were so fast on the bike course it sounded like a nightmare. I don't like it when they squeeze too many riders onto a course, memories of Blenheim here. I am shortlisting this race. Racing in Wales is worth extra WAT points for me!

Know what you mean about the time/distance. I have a sub 2 hour 'standard' dist as a result of downstream swim and shortened run due to bad weather, but you still had good times and good placing. Well done!
