So Week 7 is well and truely behind me and there is will stay!

26/02/2013 - Week 8,Day 2

Run: 1hr Z2
After all the "rest" I felt a little sluggish on the run, but was surprised when I finished and the pacing was good. Maybe it helped my body recover and get back on the horse
Time - 01:05
Distance - 11.3km
Pace - 5:47/km
Calories - 1,399kcal
GPS Data - http://app.strava.com/activities/42339952

27/02/2013 - Week 8, Day 3

Transition Day: 45min bike with QC to 15 min run, all Z2
Enjoyed this session no end! biked harder at about 240W and legs felt jolly at the start of the run - using the last 10minutes at a 100+ cadence really fells like it's working to get the legs ready for the run. Tried to spend as much time in the aeroposition - need to do more body conditioning around back and adbo muscles so this becomes stronger.
Pulled the plug on the turbo before getting the data! doh!

Feeling more motivated and revived - very possible big change at work coming that will aid training very much!

That's good news then - you're already doing more than enough training to make Ben look bad... ;)

01/03/2013 - Week 8, Day 5

Planned Saturday ride + TCR + FAT = No training, quality time with misses after a very long week.

Week 8, Day 6

Long Ride: Plan calls for 2 hours, took a wrong turn so went a little longer.
Brilliant to be outdoors again, turbo no substitute for wind, road surface, undulations and bike skills :D
Distance - 71km
Moving time - 02:45:30
Average speed - 25.8km/hr (I had no computer, so it was all ride by feel today - slower than expected, but good time in saddle)
Calories - 1,780kcal

Calories - 1,851

Rest day.

really relaxed and did nothing today. I did use the foam roller for some itb work. I think I may have cried just a little bit.

need to get a physio work down soon!

week promises to be tough with four night shifts :-( but very exciting news on the work front that should hopefully benefit training significantly, just waiting for finalization!

05/03/2013 - Week 9, Day 2

Swim: 1hour session, Endurance 8 from workout book, 2400m - AM
Always good to be back in the water, felt comfortable and tried to ensure that I kept my form as the session continued.

Run: 1hour Z2 - PM
Felt pretty good considering the long run on Sunday. I think I may have developed a blister on my toe! need to find what caused this :|
Time - 01:01:48
Distance - 11.2km
Pace - 05:32/km
Calories - 1,327
GPS Data - http://app.strava.com/activities/43252011

06/03/2013 - Week 9, Day 3

Transition Training 45minutes turbo with QC to 15min run
Turbo was good, used Powerbar IsoActive Lemon for the first time - pretty palatable. Tried to remain on the aero bars as much as possible
Power - 235watts
Cadence - 94rpm
HR - 162bpm
Calories- 607kcal
Bumf - 31.2km @ 41.5km/hr average

Run was pretty good, little bit of a stitch ?effect of drink

Overall this session felt harder than i expected. I'm on night shift at the moment, so I generally feel wasted when training during them, but it seriously effects the confidence levels and lots of self doubt tonight...
