More than I realised...What a twat!

Been laid low by something like the Norovirus for the past few days since Hever. Would like to use that as an excuse for the DNF but might be pushing it!!!
As such, I feel rotten and run-down and the mere thought of running/cycling or any exercise gives me heart palpitations!
Couple more days rest and see what the weekend brings!

Maybe a light jog or a few laps of Richmond Park if things pick up!

Haha. time to change the signature I think as I basically did neither of those events in the end!! In actual fact, I haven't done a triathlon since the first weekend in June despite grand plans to do a few in the latter part of the season!

Training hasn't gone well, perhaps I'm getting old!! :( :( :(

Saturday 6/10/12
Pilates Class to work on the core.
Not run or cycled for nearly 2 weeks but have been ill this week and struggling to get over it. Feeling a bit run down so the class was tough and my core muscles are still pretty crap

Sunday 14/10/12
Bootcamp Pilates Class.
Yet another new instructor and not much of a motivator unfortunately. Think my core is getting better but did a whole load of new exercises this week and he made me feel useless. Not massively helpful but hopefully it will help with the running and bike.

Thurs 17/10/12
Run - 3.91km, 22:22, 5:43/km, 169bpm.

Bootcamp Pilates Class - have tried to step up the number of times I do this each week as I didn't feel once a week was helping enough.

Run - 2.87km, 16:37, 5:47/km, 160bpm.

Started running again after being ill a couple of weeks ago. Going to be a long road back to getting some distance in and only got 2 weeks to get a half marathon in for the HM challenge. - Might be able to manage a very slow walk/run on the last weekend in October.

Long bike - 90km, 3:47:44, 23.7kmh, 153bpm

Bike ride with Kfjatek - surrey hills taking in Staple Lane, Crocknorth road and boxhill. Felt better for not having had some beers the night before.
