Challenge accepted!!!! (I'm a wee bit scared now!)
Haven't updated my training log for a while (mainly because a jolly holiday in Italy got in the way!) but will do it asap. Have started on a new training plan which I'm going to try to stick to until France. Started well last night with 1hr spinerval and 45 minute brick run. Now just got to keep it up ...
First ever triathlon ... DONE!
Now on to "operation beat JB in a race".

Righty ho, have neglected to fill this in for a while, apologies!
Everything is going well - am really getting into cycling now and enjoying being out on the roads (despite still wearing my trainers and no cleats  ). Running is picking up again after suddenly finding it hard for no apparent reason and I can now swim the 1.9km comfortably in the pool (albeit VERY slowly) but really going to focus on translating that into river/lake swimming.
Looking forward to France and ramping volumes up. A lot of people will be A LOT better than me but at least I'm feeling fit... a measure of which has been beating JB up Box Hill and Pisshill in recent weeks

Week 15
April 17 1hr body pump and 20mins body combat
April 18 53mins turbo
April 19 1hr 15mins running (got lost in Barcelona!)

May 4 50 mins turbo

Week 18
On holiday eating and drinking far too much with friends, oopppps!
May 10 30 mins swim
May 11 30 mins swim and 50 mins run (felt awful - meant to do 8 miles but had to stop before 6 miles!)
May 12 1200m open water swim at Thorpe and 1hr 30 mins 20 miles cycle with Si and JB

Week 19
May 15 1hr turbo (Hillacious) and 45min brick run

May 31 53 min run 10k
June 1 1hr swim drills
June 2 82km cycle 3hrs 45mins
June 3 1hr 39 mins run 10 miles

Tehehehehehe! To be fair, he's still faster generally at cycling than me and a lot faster swimming, but I'm enjoying these little victories!!!!

no, i refuse to believe that JB can cycle quicker than anyone!

and having seen him attempting to ride up a hill, i have no doubt that you leave him for dust every time.

now, downhill...........

Downhill is dangerous with JB

And expensive !!!!

He's fallen off on the flat too.

There seems to be a pattern emerging

I miss my rides with JB - he will get back in the game and smash it right up. France will be great to catch up. :D

I miss him xxxx

Only to myself ;)

However, going downhill anywherenear you is lethal. Who nearly forced who into a tractor in france ...

And you've stacked it indoors while on the turbo and without your legs moving. You win that game, even over scibby who has done the same but at least she was stationary outside
