Sunnies to protect the eyes. NEVER ride without them. EVER

More so since they are a tad sore at the mo.

Always ride with glasses, even if it means clear lenses. Sensible choice.

Are you that blind? I wonder if you could get some tinted saftey glasses in time (and relatively cheap) so you can ride and see well, plenty of option here for <£50: http://www.safetyspecs.co.uk/Frames%20w ... nserts.htm

Can you see me wearing them. I don't think so

Went for an hours mooch today without contacts or glasses and it was ok. Wouldn't like to "race" without them but I can see a fair way ( well far enough)

The beast is on.

Train booked. £75!!!! still easier and cheaper than driving once I get to paddington.

Accommodation sorted

kit sorted.

Nutrition sorted.

Presents purchased.

Excited and frightened at the same time.

2hr ride tomorrow just to keep the legs moving - small chainring, Boxhill twice and then eating for the next few days. Spin on Friday am - 40 mins.

Then in essence hooking up with some good friends in Devon, going for a mooch for a few hours, then a slap up feed, bottles of wine and load of laughing. Sounds like a perfect few days if you ask me :D :D :D

Nice easy 10 mile run.

No data as I couldn't be arsed. Just wanted to mooch. I think I run better when I'm not timing myself - strange butni dint feel like I should be going faster or slower.... actually think I went through the regular 8 mle loop a little faster.

Still - done. Legs feel fine.

Back to work tomorrow so mght squeeze a 5km in ifmi get up in time .

Other news - 7th Jan im seeing the carbon chap and my "wealthy investor" to design and start the new buggy build. Scoring stuff - looks like I will also be riding a custom team laws bike for our races too.

Lots to sort out - nothing is quick and easy.

Good news about the bike and trailor.

The great advantage of modern sports systems, GPS and other gizmos is that the stop watch is only a function rather than THE function, you can ignore the time and look at other data, by just thinking you are faster, but not being faster in reality is it really training or just running without a purpose. You have the 910, so use it, disable the alarms, don't look at the time, if you want to mooch, then mooch with a purpose, so as to get some benefit, please.

You know deep down that you are competitive, train to benefit. :D
