chappers' IMAZ training log

Postby chappers » 15 Aug 2011 11:55

Scheduled recovery week (and paternity leave.. all in the timing ;-)).. starting with a coffee and cake with the little un while mum gets a well earned pampering at the hairdressers

May spin the legs for an hour later after yesterday's race

You mean coffee and cake count as training??? I've been massively underreporting mine in that case. Do chocolate digestives count too?

I just had a sort of jam filled danish, and am about to embark upon a slice of Vanilla and Rooibos flavoured cake.

All before lunchtime too :)

WHAT?? someone ate the last of the vanilla/rooibos cake. I'm going to have to wait until after my run until I get to eat my Kangaroo bolognese.

Surely you can keep the cake constant while upping the volume of training. That will be equivalent to reducing cake input.

I had a slice of cheesecake at wagamama yesterday.

I always say I'm going to reduce cake intake, it never happens. I eat healthily generally, but have a very sweet tooth. I've tried substituting a big bowl of sweet cereal but sometimes cake or ice cream is the only thing that hits the spot :D

the brownies at lunch gave me horrible heartburn on the run.. mortons in the left foot combined with heartburn... it wasn't a pleasurable run ;-)

mmmm... cheesecake
