Ok so it's now 2 weeks since the Outlaw, and I feel like I can attempt a run (feet were in pieces after the marathon) - I aim to get in shape once and for all rather than just doing enough to get by. 2012 is going to be a mash up of events - duathlon / xterra / sprint / oly / 70.3 in a variety of locations, I am never going to be on the podium but I want to aim for the top third rather than mid table.

So back to the grind.
9km XC run - not concerned about time just wanting to make sure the body had recovered - got to 4km and knew my feet were not back to 100% felt like I had gravel in my left shoe, but I plodded on. 6km and legs kicked in, they felt really good and upped the pace but the feet were still sore. 9km done in 50mins.

30mins stretching and core work.

Checked the feet and had to remove a large chunk of skin from my foot, from my Outlaw blister, skin underneath is ok so should be able to run again on Tues.

Now just to sort my diet out - started the day with 50g Porridge / Semi-skimmed milk.....then it's probably all downhill from here :lol:

Ok so had a couple of sessions last week just to get back into the groove but, have now started to actally plan my weeks (sort of), I will attempt to update on a daily basis. Set myself a massive goal to see if I can shed 25lbs over the next 12 months.

Mon: 2 x 10km Commute on Mountain Bike, 60mins Upper Body & Core workout
Tue: 2 x 10km TT on the Roadie
Wed: Swim AM = Fail, 10km Run = Done
Thur: 2 x 10km Commute on Mountain Bike, 60mins Upper Body & Core workout
Fri: 2 x 10km TT on the Roadie
Sat:10km Run
Sun: 50m Bike

Wed now and dropped 1.5lbs so far.

Fri: 60mins Upper Body & Core workout
Sat:5km easy run / Spin on bike distance unknown
Sun: Relays
