Cheers, I have to admit to having been a bit disappointed with my preparation over the preceding months but was delighted by the performance on the day.

My longest ride since last IMUK was this weekends 100km (bar my stupid laps of central park) so I'm well down on the cycling- defo not keen on the idea of staying aero for 6hours I need to work on that big time!

Anyway, we've still got plenty of time to make improvements... I reckon the next 10 weeks before the taper are the most important so we all just need to make sure we get the work in and start looking forward to the start line!! :)

It's only formative, but from now on I plan to use Tri-talk's "triblog" to document some of my training...

I wanted blogs for our site.... it was rather poo-pooed by the mob.
I had fun once. It was awful.

Depends on the uptake - but obviously it's another database etc. meaning more storage... not the end of the world; but worth considering.

Should I split this out to another topic save ewan's training log thread from mass discussion of the benefits of BCTTT blogs?
